Edisen is growing its US team. To that end, we’re looking for a Business Development Representative based out of our New York office to bring in new business by generating leads through outbound activities and relationship building directly with agencies and brands. This unique opportunity will allow you to bring all of your passion for business development, prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the US growth team and potentially to other regions where Edisen is building a business. You will be instrumental in working cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders, and be a critical link between clients and the growth and marketing teams. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop new business via telephone and mass communication such as email and social media to identify appropriate clients within the target market
- Follow up on leads via all available channels to qualify prior to conversion to sales team
- Conduct research to identify potential prospects across a wide variety of industries
- Identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including prospect lists, trade show contacts, discovery and individual research
- Identify key site contacts and decision makers to increase quote activity and generate first time discovery meetings with prospects
- Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications to move opportunities through the sales funnel and convert leads to live opportunities
- Work with the sales and sales administration team to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet set KPIs
- Manage data for new and prospective clients in our CRM, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached
- Create briefs, presentations, business cases and analytic reports and present them to clients
- Understand the global Edisen portfolio and be able to adapt base products into client specific solutions
- Will be responsible for managing multiple prospects simultaneously & in a timely manner
- Strong communication & relationship building skills within a global organization and with clients.
- Maintain excellent written and verbal communication with all parties
WHAT YOU NEED
- 3+ years of sales experience in a high-growth, creative agency and or production/post production studio
- Ability to be on-site (NY office) at least 2-3 times per week, or as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field or equivalent preferred
- Experience selling creative technology solutions is a plus
- Adept in project management & driving the sales process
- Exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and detail oriented · Strong technical savviness
- Excellent research and data management skills
- Strong understanding of digital workflow and social media best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills
- Experience utilizing SDR/lead gen tools and practices to attract new leads
- Ability to work with Microsoft suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel

Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 base annual salary
