Edisen’s finance function has delivered several strategic projects in the past year, including the implementation of the NetSuite ERP and WorkBook for managing production jobs. Several other exciting projects are coming up as we seek to further improve financial and operational processes across the group. As a key member of the finance team, you will partner with the financial management to help deliver these projects.

We are looking for a new Senior Financial Accountant to join our team. Your main responsibilities will be to oversee accounting in our EMEA subsidiaries and assist the Head of accounting in global finance processes. The chosen candidate will work closely with the financial management to ensure all accounting standards and regulations are met, as well as help improve internal processes.

The role is full-time, located at the company's premises on Skeppsbron and reports to the Head of Accounting.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Maintain the general ledger and prepare month-end closing procedures,
• Manage and supervise accounting in our EMEA subsidiaries in Sweden, Germany, Switzerland and the UK,
• Assist in cashflow reporting,
• Reconcile and report VAT and taxes, including periodic compilation,
• Intercompany billing and loan documentation,
• Assist in the group’s transfer pricing processes,
• Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations,
• Month end closing in our Group companies,
• Account reconciliations including tax, payroll, intercompany balances and fixed assets,
• Prepare tax returns, assist with audit preparations, and perform other accounting duties as assigned,
• Assist with financial and tax audits,
• Coordinate accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments,
• Liaise with financial management to improve financial procedures.
• Working with the finance team to identify and implement processes and control enhancements to ensure an accurate and timely closing procedures.
• Other duties as required.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• 3-4 of accounting experience and 1-2 years’ experience from a similar role is required.
• A passion for working with people in a dynamic environment,

• Ability to meet, or exceed, deadlines through planning,

• Fluency in Swedish and English is a requirement,
• Experience from a role in an international organization and/or entertainment production or post-production is an advantage,
• Experience with the NetSuite ERP or other advance cloud based ERP is an advantage,
• Proficient with Microsoft Office,
